My Light Tree

You know I don't think that I have ever really uploaded anything that was just simply mine, so why not post a pic of some of my favorite decorations? This is my nightstand, along with my Sakura tree light. I have had this thing for years and I still love it to death; when I am working on HW, art Projects, writing or reading and am not deliberately sitting in the dark this light is always lit. It provides just enough light to be helpful and not too much that dozing off with it on is not impossible.

The little gems have a little bit of a story behind them. I live in a very rural area and I don't really get out too often, on one of the rare times I am in a major shopping center with my best friend and we were having an awesome time we passed one store that had one of those stupid quarter machines that gave out these little crystals with stands. On a whim we each got one and they turned out to be surprisingly nice and not as junky as we thought they'd be. So over a long period of time, several months with how often I get up to that place, I tended to get one and I used them to make some wind chimes and other types of decorations for around the house. The few that are pictured here were just the leftovers I didn't have anything left to do with. It's fun to use something that a lot of people call junk and turn it into something neat.

Now the two little stands with the blue crystal sphere's have a much less interesting story of how they came to be here, the only store that I do get to on a regular basis is a craft store and they were part of a 'fairy garden' set. I just thought that they looked nice so I put them there
